Since 1978 the Wharton County Youth Fair has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to the youth of Wharton County. Assisting these youth and helping them further their education is part of the mission statement for the WCYF&E.
Thanks to the dedicated financial support of our many sponsors, as well as the countless volunteers who give of their time and talent, we are happy to be able to help our youth. And we're confident in time, these young people will return and give back to the community who has faithfully supported them.
In 2023, we awarded $59,250 to 26 deserving graduating seniors at our annual scholarship banquet.
